    Can I change my M1330 resolution higher than 1280 x 800

    Nope, otherwise the whole idea of resolution would be pointless.

    You could if you hooked up an external monitor capable of a higher resolution.

    The resolution on your LCD is at its max, there are no more pixels for it to show.
    As others suggested ,hooking it up to an external device like a HDTV or Monitor would allow you to use a higher resolutions.

    Although I hope we`re talking about work,not gaming. The XPS1330 was not meant for that.

    Technically I think if you replaced the LED Screen with that one Lenovo uses for its 13.3inch that has 1440 X 900 then yes, But without adding external monitor or changing the Display then No,.

    The screen physically only has 1280 horizontal pixels, and 800 vertical pixels. While it may be possible force higher, it will be scaling it to the same 1280x800 physical pixels, and will be pointless, not to mention look crap.
