    Good afternoon,

My precision M90 died a couple of weeks ago and so im gettint an xps replacement.

    t7500
    120gb 7200
    2gb ram...

Nothing really hardcore but for me its the same thing im having but with the new 800mhz bus...

So the thing is that I want to buy 2x250 but dell wont letme pay the extra and i dont know if the second hd bay will come prepared for a plug and play or if i will need some kind of adaptor, i would really apreciate if someone could clarify that bc for vostro and inspiron you need an special sata to dell "plug".

Other point is that, it has been in preproduction since the 8/11 and today 22/11 its still on that stage.

Its been said to be delivered on the 28/11 or earlier... Should i expect a delay on that, how should i proceed if that date was not met, i have allready been to long without my laptop?

    Thanks a lot in advanced!

M1730 comes with a hdd cage, the cage supports up to two drives. One will be screwed in place and the ribbon cable that goes to the primary drive also has the secondary drive connector on it.
So you will be able to add a third party drive with no problem. To screw the drive in place, just take out 2 of the 4 screws on the first drive and use them to screw in the second one.

Dude thanks for the quick answer.

So that means that i could allready go to ebay and purchase the 2x250 and expect them to fit out of the box no?

Another question I have is about the warranty they have put:

BASE WARRANTY - 1 YEAR XPSPREMIUM HARDW

** COMPLETE CARE ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE (3 YEARS)

And on the website each warranty has an extra price added to the final amount.

With the above, those this mean that after 1 year of the hw support I will only have accidental cover?

That is, if my screen was to stop working after 18 months will i have to "accidentaly" break it to get it fixed? The rep keeps stating the complete care will cover it, but then i dont understand why they have 300 euros for one warranty and 300 euros for the other one.
