    Hey guys, can we use the Dell laptop remote for other laptops? I tried it on my friends HP NC4400 but it didn't seem to work. Does anyone know how to make it work or if there are drivers that I need to install?

    Also, i find a striking similarity between the dell remote and HP. makes me wonder.

    not sure whether Intelliremote works (its for MCE remotes, may work for those)

    well, everything's generic.... the wireless dell-'branded' mouse and keyboard... different shape and label but same usb-transmitter and can be used interchangably with my sister's hp-'branded' mouse and keyboard
