I uploaded a zip file to rapidshare which contains a possible solution to the problem that you're experiencing. Click this link, download the file, read the "Read Me" file that is included in the zip.

    Enjoy!

I have a Dell XPS 15 L502X as well. The solution that I posted worked for me, I was experiencing the same problem as you are but now I am able to play the game without any problems.

    1. Try uninstalling the game
    2. Reinstall it
    3. Copy the files from the zip that I uploaded to rapidshare
    4. Run the game

    I hope this helps

    Here's another work-around.

    After replacing the files:

    1. Right click the "Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet" icon
    2. Select " Run with graphics processor" --> " Integrated graphics"
    3. ( I know it will be slow) Play the game until you end up outside where you see the sky and a meteor falling from the sky ( it'll only take a few seconds)
    4. At this point the game should autosave
    5. Exit the game
    6. Start the game using the High performance NVIDIA processor ( it should be selected by default)
    7. When the game starts, select " Resume" & you should begin from where you left off.

You should be able to play the game using the NVIDIA GPU after following the instructions above.

Unfortunatelly when i pass to the point where you have to pull a bright ball it comes back to the black screen with the sound on the background...
I hope they fix it so we do not have to play with the intel graphics then go back to the nvidia.
