Recently, I cannot change the brightness setting using the FN keys. I cannot increase the brightness using the keys and I can only decrease the brightness by one using the keys. Through the windows mobility center, I can change the brightness. Is there any fixes that I can do to restore this function again?

    Have you reinstalled quickset?

Have you restarted? I had a problem once where it wouldn't work randomly and a restart fixed it; hasn't happened again recently.

Hi, I didn't find how to pm you, so I want to ask you here. I have an XPS mostly just like your's, and so I have a problem after I upgraded my laptop to Win 8, so the problem is that i can't install couple drivers like the CardReader one, or Synaptics, can you tell me what the problem is?
