I have an XPS M1730 laptop with two 200gig HDs in raid array. I just cannot get Acronis True Image to restore a back up. I have the backup on a data partition separate form the Vista partition. When I boot into TI from a CD, Acronis does not see the Data partition at all. I've even tried Windows backup but it cannot find the external drive the backup in on. Is it something to do with the two Sata drives in raid array? I am a new poster here and hope someone can help me sort this out.

Not sure but you might want to look into the update which was released a few days ago. Acronis True Image 2009 Home is now at Build 9788. To download the update, log in to your account on the support site.

Hi - went to the Acronis site but saw only the update released in January. Where is the new update you mentioned?

My bad Almin... looks like it was pulled from the site - perhaps there was an issue with the build. Sorry for the confusion.
