Booq Boa Slimcase - stunning quality and looks a bit more trendy than a rucksack.

i think i'll go for the Zeroshock III, i read it's a really good stuff.
what size do u think will be good? there's a 15,4" (37 cm * 27 cm) and a 17" (40 cm * 29 cm).. based on the specs i'd say i should go for the 17", but i heared many cases when the SXPS 16 fit in a 15.4" case too, i'm afraid the 17" may be too big to fit in my bag, also it would be still better then buying the 15.4" and finding out my laptop's not fitting in there.

Anyone have any new reccomendations for neoprene sleeves for the Studio XPS 1640 that fit snuggly?

All the 16 inch bags i've seen in Best Buy are too big for the laptop. I'm thinking maybe a 15.6 case could probably work.

So I need advice. My 1640 is on the way and I need a new case.

I am interested in a messenger bag similar to this:
    http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/products/laptop/laptop-messenger-style/laptop-messenger
Does the medium size fit the XPS 1640 with a 9-cell or do I need a large?

I am looking for a nice messenger bag that fits the XPS 1640 with a 9-cell battery attached. Does anyone have any other recommendations other than the timbuk2?

I am also looking for a similar style sleeve (no zipper), has anyone tried those reversible Case Logic ones, do they fit?

Also, does anyone have this bag from Crumpler?
    http://www.crumplerbags.com/Lite/English/Products/Dreadful-Embarrassment---DE16A.html
I am looking to put my laptop in a sleeve, then stick it in a messenger so 17" bag would work best.

I've been using this REI sleeve for my laptops. This one is the large, but they have a small one that would also work for the SXPS 13 for about $5 less.

I like these sleeves because they are really well padded, they can be opened from the vertical or horizontal positions, and they have a small zippered pouch on the side which can hold a few cables or a mouse. I've been using one for 3 years with my Asus and their is still absolutely no wear that I can find (and it is used almost every weekday inside my backpack)!

I got the Built NY neoprene backpack(Large) for my xps 1640. Their site has it listed for $80.00 but it can be found on amazon and a few other stores for around $39.00.
I purchased mine at the local micro center and it was labeled as $39.99 but when I went to check out, it rang up as $19.99.

    http://www.builtny.com/showPage.php?pageID=1628

For the 1640, you have to get the large. It says for up to 17" but I believe they are going base on systems with the old aspect ratio. The 1640 fits nice and snug and if it were any taller, it probably would not close. I love this bag, so light and stealth. It also has a separate compartment inside that you can slip small things, adapter and a few other gadgets.

can you post a pic of how the bag looks with the 1640 inside? Do you think it would fit one w/ a 9 Cell? (9 cell adds about an inch in height compared to w/ 6 cell)

Alright, in your opinion, what bag or sleeve, lite in weight, goes well with a white XPS 16, and has only enough extra storage space for a large mouse (G5 and G9x size) and power supply? I want something other than black though...

I think the 9 cell would fit just fine. Height wise the fit is pretty close. You can see that from the image with the bag open. Width wise, you have about an extra inch and you have a bit more room to work with on the depth. The neoprene does stretch. I put my adapter in the other compartment, it creates a bulge but fits easily along with other small accessories.

It fits this laptop nicely without extra bulk. It's a nice minimal design.

I have an XPS 1340, Need a Case/sleeve. I have been looking at the Tucano workouts for the Macbook Pro 13. would this fit the XPS 13 looked through this thread didn't see any mention of it. Looks like what I'm after. Any recommendations for something similar. I really like the strategic location of the padding inside.

Saw a bag I really liked a while back somewhere on this forum but now I can't find it anymore. It was almost like a duffel backpack (with two shoulder straps). I want something like that so I can put some textbooks and maybe some gym stuff in the bag as well. Hopefully someone here can direct me to it or recommend something else suitable. This is for the XPS 1645.

Anyone recommend a case for the XPS 16 and a SLR Nikon can fit in it? I need someone to combine them so I only have one carry on with the flight. :)
