Hi guys,
I have an older XPS m1530 (i.e. pre-Penryn) with a CCFL display at 1280 x 800...is it possible to change the entire screen to accommodate an LED screen at the same res?
Is it possible to get a thinner cover for the screen as well?
And finally, how would these modifications affect my warranty?
(I overclocked my 8600M GT already, so technically it's already void, but the Dell technicians in Hong Kong haven't noticed it yet XD)
Thanks guys

you would have to swap the whole lid...

Ah, sorry, stupid question then =D
but they do have LED displays at 1280 x 800, I assume?
And what about the warranty? -
If you swapped the screens on your 1530, I believe that would no longer be covered warranty..as your replacing with something on your own
