Hi,
I have an XPS 13 (L322x) with i7 3687U, I would like to change it to the i7 3632QM. Can I change it or its not possible?
Thanks.

The 3687U CPU in the L322x is a BGA package soldered to the motherboard, so it's not upgrade-able.

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
It's soldered alright... you can clearly see that there's no socket in the service manual.

99% of laptops have soldered CPUs now anyways (only ones that don't, really, are the BTO ones like Clevo/Sager etc).
Anyways, trying to swap out a 3687U (ULV Dual Core CPU) with a 3632QM (FV Quadcore CPU) wouldn't work.... you'd fry the power phase delivery system, and even if it did work, you'd get about 30 mins on battery. Pretty sure they're different chipsets as well.
Changing cpu on xps 13?
