Ok so i live in UK, and been checking prices for mainly studio xps16 - ebay/dell outlet/ dell etc.

I cant believe how much money could be saved if i were to get it from the states!

Where is best value to get one from UK ? it seems as though most money can be saved by getting a refurb, lots on ebay and from a lot of reputable sellers.

where did you get yours from? dell ? ebay ? which seller? etc.

Has anyone purchased from abroad whether it via ebay ? if so which seller? I dont really want to take this route for obvious reasons (customs/vat/problems with seller etc)

however i did purchase my last laptop from ebay US, fortunatly i didnt get hit with any charges, but come to think of it even if i did i would of probably still save a few quid compared to prices over here.

Don't know where you could find it cheaper. Is it really the one you want? I know at Bestbuy.com you can get it for $899.00 USD.
Read reviews first before you buy it. Check at NotebookReview.com
    and my site: LaptopMemo.com

well aymank, the xps 16 is a great laptop, there are some great comments about it, but remember what makes a great computer is the hardware, and not the pretty outside, you could buy a basic-configuration one, and upgrade as needed, its cheaper that way IMO...

i would first ask, what do you plan to use it for ?

Get a 15% off coupon and goto the Dell Outlet. Just sign up for e-mail coupons or scour the web for some. You'll save more there than you can anywhere else.

Eh, you're not missing much with the specs you have unless you plan to max the thing out. My M1530 feels just as fast as the SXPS. On the flip side it is nice to have new things :D :D
