Logitech Kinetik. It's already black and red, you just have to put a Ferrari logo on it.

Dung - sorry to repeat myself but perhaps you missed my enquiry, I was wondering if you got the nvidia logo that you mentioned was laser cut? done in ho chi minh city? - reason I ask is that Id love it if you could give me the address of the place that did it as I live there. Perhaps though you are in Arizona?
    Thanks

No problem Dung - Thanks alot for sending me the URL - I have been looking for someone in saigon to do stuff like that professionally for AGES.
Im thinking of buying a clevo and getting it shipped to VN via DHL or Fedex, what do you think about the customs for receiving it? I know you were thinking about getting one right, maybe when the core i17 (whatever the hell its called!) chipset is released, how do you plan on importing it to VN?

I havent found any decent laptop places in saigon really I mean high end one - can you recommend any? the best place I found was one called xtreme computers, around the pham ngu lao area. They had imported cases, big servers and that sort of thing.

The Khac Ten website has the address 15 Đường số 2, Cư xá Đô thành, P.4, Q.3, TP.HCM so I will try there.

If you choose express shipping, you dont have to do any paper work. If you choose standard shipping (I dont know how much you will save) , you have to some paper work. I recommend you to contact with your reseller. I think I will choose xoticpc in the future. Justin@xotic is around to help or use their chat systems!
Did you check out Gateway P-7811?
yeah, I am waiting for the next generation of D901C.

Well the thing is a US based seller would have no idea about vietnamese customs regulations obviously so little point in asking them. Fedex seem pretty well established in Vietnam so would probably use them, its around 15-20% tax you have to pay if I remember rightly to import a laptop to VN.
Personally I wouldnt choose xoticpc really apart from the fact they just buy the machines off sager they dont accept international credit cards, there aint much chance id buy something worth +4000US and not use a credit card what with the insurance you get from using the card.

The only US based clevo reseller that takes normal cards - as far as I can figure is KillerNotebooks so would probably be a good bet.

Re the Gateway yea I did see that and it looks like a really good deal doesnt it, the only thing I heard was that the screen on it isnt that impressive, so if thats the case then ill give it a miss, its a shame though as otherwise sounds like good bang for buck.

Im kind of leaning towards getting the new dell m6400 now. Especially because I can just take a quick flight to malaysia and pick one up, they are assembled there and are usually around 10% or so cheaper than the US prices if you go there.

Thanks again for that address - I will be using them, not actually for laptop stuff but some business stuff.

Have you ever seen the gateway p-7811 for sale in HCMC anywhere?

You did an AWESOME job on that! It's like, SO 1337. Though, I personally probably would have put an 1337 sticker on it :p(like I have on my current laptop). I hope it lasts long!

If you removed the red strip on the mousepad, speakers, and silver edges of the lid, (and the Ferrari thing, but that's just me) it would be perfect.

Maybe you should put a Vostro keyboard in...

    Looks AWESOME!!

What did you use to affix the leather to the machine? Glue? And if so, what kind exactly?

I am in the process of making a Suede skin for my m1730, and am not sure what to use to attach it.

Looks very nice! have you thought about having the keyboard black? I read somewhere you can use another dell systems keyboard on the M1530. I think it's the vostro keyboard that can be used.
