    Hello,

I've got my xps m1530 over the summer and it has been working great.
I have noticed that when I want to check the battery option by pressing Fn+F3, the battery screen that used to pop up doesn't.
I know this isn't a huge issue or anything, but can anyone tell me what the problem may be?

Is there some control that you accidentally re-assigned to Fn+F3? Check the manual to see if there is a way you can re-program it back.

    Hi.

I think a dell application needs to be loaded for that to work, have you disabled any startup programs or uninstalled any!

Can you adjust the screen brightness or the sound level as these can sometime be linked.

    Regards

    John.

I'm having the same problem aswell. The FN and brightness buttons work fine, but the FN button and F3 doesnt do anything.
