    Guyz can someone tell me what are things i have to check after ordering?
    i have ordered xps 15 Base model - core i5 2nd gen,6 GB ram, 2 GB graphics card,Backlit Keyboard. thanks in advance and im from india.......

    Make sure the order matches the above and make sure you get what you ordered in the machine when it arrives. And make sure everything works etc.

    As Sam said, make sure you get what you ordered, make sure what you ordered (on the order confirmation) matches what you meant to order.

    Well check the basic spec of the pc when you get it in system properties for example in my computer which will tell you what cpu and how much ram you have. Make sure that is what you ordered then right click the desktop for the nvidia control panel, go to system info and make sure the card and vram match your order. Also check your hdd size in my computer. Then have a play and make sure it runs without issues etc. Backlit works.

    Really before you do that check your order against the package list on the side of the box (it isnt easy to understand mind) then check for physical damage.

    - Cancel your order

    - Re-order with the 1920x1080 display.

    - You can sacrifice the 540M graphics card, it only makes a small difference
    - You can downgrade to an i3 procesor or downgrade the RAM

    - Nothing makes as much of a difference as the screen.
