I'm sure there's an obvious answer to this, but I just did a clean install of my new 1647 and the wireless adapter seems to be misisng (at least the enable button). I'm on the dell driver site, and I can't for the life of me choose which driver/application will reintegrate it.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

As well, is there a quick way that one can determine what drivers he needs? I find the site a little confusing and I'm not sure if I'm downloading the right things.

Ok, so I figured out the wireless.

My only remaining problem is that when I go to devices, I get an "exclamation mark" on my computer. When I check hardware it says that I'm missing drivers for two "Base System Devices."

The first has a location "PCI bus 7, device 0, function 2"

The second has a location "PCI bus 7, device 0, function 1"

I really have no idea what this means, so I'd be very grateful if someone could tell me what drivers these pertain to. Thanks!

These are the ricoh card reader drivers, if the ones from the dell drivers download site for ur 1647 dont fix it, try the ones from the 1640 drivers site
