ColorWare is a pretty well-known name when it comes to custom gadget. coloring. From everything I've seen and heard, they do an amazingly flawless job coloring your notebook, and it looks amazing afterwards. Even though coloring it voids your laptop's warranty, ColorWare gives you a custom warranty so if anything goes wrong, you're covered by ColorWare (which'll repaint your notebook if you need a replacement). With a mixture of Carbon, Jet Black, and Graphite, the XPS M1530 looks amazing! If I ever decide to pick up a M1530, it'll be worth spending a few extra hundred to have Colorware paint it.

Wow.. this is really tempting. But $450 is out of the question (for now anyway).

$450 is ridiculous, you can buy a 360 and 2 games with that

Too expensive a local airbrush (car/motorcycle) painter can do it for less with custom design

You also get a warranty on the laptop with that price i believe (since it voids your manufacturers warranty).
