Been doing lots of research, looking at the forum every day...I shall order on the upcoming 'tax free' weekend. TN has a 9.25% sales tax! Here a computer is tax free up to $1,500 so I would like to get a tad below that and am at chosen configuration: XPS17, 2720 CPU, 8 GB RAM, the 3GB GPU, the 1080P screen - non-3D, etc, etc. which puts me about $1548.

Question:Are the only coupons available when using the Dell website, the ones they 'guide' you to? More ot the point - can you combine any others with these? There is currently the two totalling $450 off and $20 for the 2 500GB HD's. I am not looking to change configuration, just get a little more off.

The $450 off 2-coupon pairing you refer to is the best I've seen for new systems.\

Just get the 4GB of RAM and upgrade yourself later. Dell's charging like $120 for that leap from 4 to 8, you can get a good 8GB pack on Newegg (who has a warehouse shipping center in TN!) for $60ish. Drops you under the $1500 mark too.

As I mentioned...I'm not interested in changing the configuration, but thanks.
