    Comparable Warranty Replacement Specs? [L702x] for [Alienware M17x]

    Hey guys, I was offered an M17x for a warranty exchange for my L702x. (Not details on replacement yet) I may also post this in the alienware forum too, but wanted to share with y'all anyway.

    What would the specs of a comparable M17x be compared with what's in my signature? Should I expect an R3? R4? Anything I should look out for? Anything I should ask for?

    I'd much rather have the Alienware.

    Technically an R3 is a suitable replacement. Was your L702x brand new or refurbished? If refurb, you may get an R3 refurb. If you bought new, likely you'll get an R4.

    Just make sure you get the quad and the highest GPU you can.
