This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about this.

    This isn't the first time that a large company went through a major systems re-work that didn't go as smoothly as hoped. It happens a the time.

    This isn't the first time a random comment on the internet got blown way out of proportion. It happens all the time.

    This isn't the first time a former or about-to-be former employee talked trash about his/her employer. It happens all the time.

    This isn't the first time an employee talks about how everything is screwed up, without knowing the whole picture. It happens all the time.
