    Hi,

I have purchased a DELL Studio XPS 1640 second hand. However I purchased it on condition that the wifi card has the 802.11n (draft-n) standard and that there is an Integrated Digital (DVB) TV-Tuner Card.

How can I confirm that the wifi card has exactly the 802.11n standard (I have a problem with WiFi distance and performance at home) and that the TV tuner card is actually in there?

    Thank you for your help...

    Aaron

Visit your router webpage, it may tell you what the laptops are connected at.

If not, set your router to Wireless N only. If your laptop connects, it's Wireless N.

You could also determine what model cards you have from looking it up in the control panel.
