I have problem in connecting to LCD TV through HDMI cable . I cannot able to clone the image from PC to LCD. It only extends.
When I checked in the Device Manger it show both PNP moniter but Laptop moniter is on on Intel(R) HD Graphics Family but the LCD tv is on nVidea graphics. I don't know is this the problem but What can do for this.

    Cannot we change the graphics??

One more problem is I lost softwares which was installed before. Could it be possible to get it back

1 SOFTWARE : MICROSOFT OFFICE STARTER: RED
    1 SOFTWARE : WINDOWS LIVE
1 SOFTWARE : DELL STAGE SOFTWARE
    1 SOFTWARE : DELL SUPPORT CENTER 3.0
    1 SOFTWARE : DATASAFE LOCAL 2.3 BASIC
    1 ANTIVIRUS : MCAFEE SECURITYCENTER 15 MO

(I have installed windows 7 by myself. I didnt use the dell one)

You cannot clone to the HDMI output as you discovered. To clone to your TV you will need to use the DisplayPort and possibly a miniDisplayPort to HDMI adapter. WiDi may work...don't know...but that requires additional wireless hardware.

Check the Dell site, you should be able to download all the preloaded software.

I usually do presentations using extended rather than duplicated desktop. No unexpected IM popup, email arrival message etc. Can be sneakily checking stuff without everyone seeing. And if it's for watching films or whatever then you have the first desktop to do other things?

You CAN use the HDMI to connect to an external display....I've done it numerous times....You might not be able to do a clone, but only an extend or use only 1 of the 2 displays, but I can't check atm, I'm on the road.
