    Corrupted HDD

    I have Dual Boot Vista And XP
    Vista works great but sometimes in XP i see a error and Laptop restart
    Vista Is insalled in C: and XP in E:, D: is for files
    how can i find and not use that part of HDD which is corrupted
    I want to split Corrupted Part in F: and not use it
    Is this possible?

    When you say corrupted, what exactly do you mean? Can you describe the error information? If its file corruption, then a quick check disk would solve the problem. If it cannot be fixed, then the very best plan of action is to buy a new drive. Partitioning it out is not the best idea and many high density drives are at sub $100 drives. Post back with more info.

    My Brother jumped HDD on floor and a part of HDD its damaged
    i see a error but cant find what it is because laptop always restart

    Ok, start out trying this Knoppix Live CD: http://www.knopper.net/knoppix/index-en.html. First recover your information asap. I think getting a new hd will be the best idea, as physical damage will always pose an issue.
