    I think the keyboard connector or the thing it's attached to broke, so a certain set of keys don't work. How much would it cost for a new motherboard (I'm assuming that the keyboard connector is attached to it?)?

    Do you have the replace the whole thing if you beat up the plastic part right underneath the notebook connector (none of the metal pins)?
