That's not likely to do anything, the 8600M is prone to failure from thermal cycles due to a defect, so you're looking at a hardware failure. You'll need to replace the motherboard. How many years of warranty did you purchase?

I know about the 8 series graphics card' problem cause of the temperature.
It has not happened on my 1530 right now.
My problem is the Pci-E speed is lock on X8 or X1 which is X16 before. And my notebook is out of warranty.
I want to flash the vga bios to see if it can fix this problem.

Check to see if there is a BIOS update for the M1530 available from http://support.dell.com. Also, install the latest driver for it from Nvidia. That should be able to fix the software-related issue.

Thank you. But I have already update the motherboard bios and the latest driver. I also reinstall the system too. But the Pci-E speed also lock on X8 or X1.

I am from China. In China lots of 1530 user also have this problem. Replace motherboard can fix this problem. But my notebook is out of warranty. Nobody try to reflash the vga bios yet. Flash the vga bios is my last chance.

If it always lock on x8, I will ignore it.
But everytime I restart the computer(not shutdown then restart), it will 100% lock on x1.
Pci-E lock on x1 will seriously affect the performance(even can not play the HD movies).
