http://www.cheapstingybargains.com/...ore-2-duo-processor-24ghz-and-16-rgb-led-lcd/
I was looking for dell studio xps 16 coupons and came across this site. It said that for $1,199 you could get a bundle package off dell with the RGBLED screen and 2.4 GHz!! On the dell site when you check it says minimum 1,299 for RGBLED screen with 2.0 GHz. I don't know it sounds too good to be true but can one of you guys check if it's real? mean I clicked the link did all the configuration and it ended up being that same price (well a bit lower I don't want Bluetooth).
At the cart it has https and everything on the address bar and it says
Save $504 off this Studio XPS Laptop!

Can anybody else please check if this is legit?
Thank you!
-
Yes, it is legit. Showed up as 1199 for me. If you are seeing something different, clear your cookies and temp files and try again.
-
oh my god... this is ridiculous
Thank you for testing it -
nice deal!!that's a steal!!!
-
Pretty good deal but still $170 more than I paid using EPP. Of course EPP is no longer as cheap as it was on 6/26.
-
I'm tempted to cancel my order and pick this up If I can get EPP on this hmmmmm
-
I sent an email to the rep that quoted my last order because the rep in chat told me that he could not cancel my last order for me and I'd have to cancel this one.
I would be going from 2.53 -> 2.4, from 500GB 7200 rpm -> 320GB 7200, from the Intel 5100 -> 5300, and using the extra money to upgrade to the 4670. This seems like a better deal for me because I don't need 500GB and I doubt I'd noticed 2.53 vs 2.4...
Edit: shoot..out of office and tommorrows the 4th............. -
-
Yeah, especially since this is essentially what I wanted, the 4670/or bluray instead of the 500GB HD......
P.S. Does anyone know if dell employees work the 4th of July? -
-
Bought it 2 hours ago with 3670, The lady on chat told me it ended today but idk
-
Can someone post the best EPP deal link for a high-end system with the RGBLED.
Thanks! -
I hope thats not true, but if it is I'm still happy with my old purchase anyways -
I dnt think it is.. it looks like its still going on
-
The EPP deals for the SXPS 16 are here http://www.dell.com/us/en/eep/vpjune_xps_16/fs.aspx?refid=vpjune_xps_16&s=eep&cs=6099
The best one with the RGB screen is 1348 with EPP, but thats because its coming with a Blu Ray player also. The rest of it is loaded, but the discrete graphics can be upgraded. -

use the link on the first page

This morning this deal was still active... I just went to purchase it now just a few hours later and it seems to have gone up $100. I had a chat session with a rep that basically told me I am SOL
-
Try again with a new rep and a different deal. It may not be that good, but you might be able to get it down another hundred or two.
-
For some reason it goes on and off this deal. When I bought it july 4th, as soon as I finished, it was 1299, but the next day it was 1199, It's supposed to end July 31st or Nov 5th or something just wait a bit
-
now it seems to be ended, now it's only $404 off.. :S
just when it seems i had no better choice.. it's still the best offer i can see, but it seems i missed $100 additional off..
is there any better deal going on now, than this $404 off? -
i don't know what to do now..
is this $404 off still good enough to go for, or should i wait for a better deal?
i think it's still good, but what do u think? i wouldn't wait longer, than a few days, up to a week or so.. and if i wait longer, i can even miss this deal too, and than i would be really f*cked up..
just one of u wrote that this happened before and a few hours later the old $504 deal was available, maybe i should wait a bit.. -
I think you should take it now... I had it and messed it up by not buying the 4670..
-
thx. yeah, it didn't change back since than, i think the time is ticking the less chance it have to change back, now i think it's very unlikely.
-
what makes these laptops cost so much? looking at the studio...it doesn't seem a good buy for 1200$....
-
but i think its still not a bad deal. the best part of it is the RGBLED screen. it's also a well-built, slim laptop, with strong performance, if u upgrade the gpu to 4670, you'll be pretty much able to play games on it.
Could this really be real???
