Hey, I own Dell xps m1330 with LED Screen which recently cracked.

Now I know that the LED screen is a different size than LCD one. But i can get LCD screen + a new thicker back(Lid) for half the price of a LED screen.

My question: If I change the back(Lid) with an LCD Lid and put in an LCD screen will it work? Or do they require different voltages and a different motherboard?

Also will the Lid fit in or does it have thicker hinges?

I suspect not, but I wanted to make sure before making the purchase. Thanks to anyone who can help.

A weirder follow up, there is no chance that a Macbook Air LED screen, which is cheaper than Dell's LED Screen, might work with Dell xps m1330 is there?
