The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Creative X-Fi software & TV Tuner issues

    I have a SXPS16, with the additional XFI & Tv tuner upgrade.

    I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate RTM.

    I've installed the Creative software, but when I go to switch modes, it crashes. There's no option to switch to "Game" mode, its stuck on Entertainment.

    Second issue,

    The Hauppage tuner, I've got the driver from Dell's website, but in MCE it picks up no channels... other people have been having this issue - what's the problem?
