Hi, I just installed Vista Ultimate 64 bit on my m1530 and I install Crysis, Update it and click on the 64 bit exe and a black screen appeares. I do ctrl alt del and close the black screen. I then tried the 32 bit edition and it worked!
I really want to play 64 bit eddition, can anyone help me.
2nd Problem : When just browsing the internet, i hear the HD working alot and I was wondering if I had installed AHCI drivers correctly, is there a way to check it is working?
thanks

Don't do Ctrl+Alt+Delete, try just simply clicking a few times until you see the EA logo. This seems to be an issue with Crysis 64-bit where it just shows a black screen till you click.
For the AHCI drivers go into your Device Manager and make sure you have a listing for AHCI under IDE/ATAPI controllers. To get to Device Manager, Right Click on My Computer go to Properties, go to Advanced System Settings, then the hardware tab and then click on device manager. Or for an easier method, simply go to the start menu and type in "Device Manager" and hit enter. -
i will try this out, THANKS!
