I know the M1710 has a docking port on its underside. I have heard that it is compatible with some current D/Docks offered by Dell. Which D/Dock, that is offered by Dell, is compatible with the XPS M1710? Any help or answers would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thank you.

You can use either the D/Dock or the D/Port with the M1710. I have the D/Port personally, and it works awesome. The D/Dock comes with a power supply built in that will supply plenty of power for it, however if you get the D/Port you will need to buy a 130w power supply, as the 90w that comes with it will not be enough to power your system. It works perfectly though, it's great to be able to just put the system on the dock and hook up to all my external accessories.
