I am not too sure if it was there when I got the system or it appeared now.

I have XPS 15 - i7 740 machine with 1080p screen. During the boot-up (when DELL logo is displayed) I can see couple of small green lines all over the screen. It only last during the logo display and I couldn't see afterwards. This may not visible in the daylight and may be a reason why I have not noticed it till now.

In a dark room, during a boot (when DELL logo appears) if watched closely there are many lines.

Has anyone else seen this on their system. Is that something I need to worry about.

    Thanks

Hi there, I've got the same thing (small horizontal green lines on the screen when the xps logo is on) so I don't think you should worry :)

Thank for the reply. I started to worry because on Friday a DELL engineer came to install a TV Card. After installation he put the cables in wrong place and when booted BIOS beeped and error code. Before I look at the code he did something and it disapeared. After he left I found out that the A/C adapter was loose and he forgot to put a screw in.

With all these I started to look too close and these thing made me worry.
