Hello, I have just registered here to ask you XPS owners who also play SWTOR about your graphic settings and the performance you get in Frames per Second.

The reason I am asking is that I am interested in the XPS 17 with the GTX 555m.
Will that notebook, and in other words that graphics card, be able to run SWTOR in high graphic settings and still run smoothly ?

    ---------------------------

2nd question I have: What the heck shall i do with a 3d Screen as 17" is way to small for watching movies, isnt it.

runs super awesome! 1080p highest settings then apply, now disable all shadows and shadowing set to low! now press "ctrl shift f" apply and you will be very happy. my processor is the intel 2760qm so others performance may very. I get 60fps base and as high as 120+fps.
    good luck

I play in full 1080p and graphics set to medium. No idea what the frame rates are and don't care. It runs smooth as silk, no issues what so ever. I don't tweak any of the custom setting, just put it on meium and play, you'll be super happy with the results. Dying jedi's setting are good as well, I just prefer to go a bit lower.

Control +shift + f will display your "fps" (frames per second). He says to disable shadows on settings and this helps. Basically on his 1920x1080 resolution screen his laptop runs swtor fine.
