    Hi

I have purchased a dell xps 1530 about 8 months ago.
    Intel core 2 duo T7250 @ 2.00 GHz
    2GB ram
32-bit vista (thinking of upgrading to 64bit and getting 4GB ram)
NVIDIA 8600M GT (with the latest drivers)

I had some issues before while gaming my computer would freeze for a second, however this happened only 1-2 times per week. (this started happening after the bios update that was released by DELL)
However recently when playing games (guild wars) my computer freezes for 1 sec and then the fps drops to 5-20. I have to close the game and wait several minutes (10+) for this to be fixed.
Sometimes my gfx card just seems to go crazy and crash my entire computer? The fps drop/computer crash is happening a lot. Yesterday while playing for an hour I got 2 computercrashes due to my card freezing and my screen going crazy!
Is my card dieing? or what is going on?
I am a casual gamer not playing any high end games.

    Hope anyone can help me!

Ok.. that temp is normal for gaming.. I was just wondering if the issue you are having is due to over heating or something like that.. Anyway, I think the best way is to Call Dell soon and ask for a replacement!!!

I would try this site, I had them dropping like flies until I changed this bios setting.
