In the XPS you will get better warranty, DDR3 memory, faster HD, illuminated keyboard and an arguably nicer design. Whether that outweights the worse CPU and screen is a very personal choice only you can make.

I don't know which GPU is more powerful, most likely the 3670 for no other reason as the 2x memory.

The Studio XPS 16 is your best bet.

The SXPS 16 has the better graphics card, faster hard drive, and back-lit keyboard, whereas the Studio 15 has the better resolution and memory (although it's memory's clock speed is lower) and is lighter. If you do want to play games I'd go with the SXPS, which I think is also more durable.

I haven't used the Studio 15 before, but the keyboard on the XPS 16 is very durable and great to work with. I use my computer quite a bit, so I put a lot of emphasis on the keyboard. If I were using a computer 12 hours a day, I would make sure I had the best keyboard possible, even if it meant buying a system with a slower CPU.
