I've noticed that DVD access is really slow for the 1530 under Vista. Any reccomendations on how I can speed it up?

DVD access for everything I've tried - installing software, copying files to the drive from a DVD- I haven't tried watching movies yet.
The types of files don't matter. -
Go to Device Manager > IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers > Select the IDE Channel of your DVD ROM (Click each one and go to the Advanced Settings Tab, The device type should say something like : ATAPI Cdrom). See if Enable DMA check box is ticked. If not, tick it and restart.
