    Hey guys,

I have a recently bought 1647. I've been playing SC2 and WoW and in both games I have had considerable lag. I've read on the forums that the DW1501 isn't a great card so I'm thinking of actually buying those intel (6300 a good choice?) ones. For those that have the DW1501, do you guys have lag as well?

Btw, I put a sticker on my notebook that claims that it is an electromagnetic shield (lolol). Do you think that the shield may be partially blocking my wireless signal?

Thanks for your help guys! :D

Is it easy to replace these in a laptop? If it is and you do not void your warranty, the Intel Wifi is the better option.

All this said, I hard-wired my home just to get away from playing games via wireless. I know lag was just one of many problems I was experiencing.

yah I was wondering if installing the intel 6200/6300 by yourself would void your warranty.

It shouldn't...just swap the original card back when you need tech support...
