Anyone noticed this issue?
I play Minecraft. The game was set to default to use the integrated graphics (which gave really lousy performance at like 10 FPS with graphics up).
I went into the video settings, added Minecraft to the programs, and switched it so that the Nvidia Graphics would be default.
Even though it's flagged to use Nvidia, it still always boots up using integrated graphics.
I can force the issue by right-clicking and telling it to run off the Nvidia (even though the Nvidia is listed there as the default card now). Only in that situation will it actually fire up with the Nvidia card (in which case I get around 100 FPS).
So I have a workaround, but I'd rather not have to keep asking it to use Nvidia every time even though I've already set it to do so (but it doesn't feel like following instructions).
Default processor selection not working?
