Hey guys![]()
Tried the search feature without a lot of luck.
I have a 1530 with the 355 Bluetooth card.
I also have a Sony CMT-DH5BT Micro Hi-Fi which is able to stream mp3 from A2DP or AVRCP compliant Bluetooth modules.
I can get the Hi-Fi and the laptop to pair up without a problem. The only thing that I can't get to happen is for the bloody music to play!
Is the 355 card A2DP/AVRCP compliant? Or am I wasting my time?
I have downloaded all the latest drivers etc.
Thanks for your time - it's driving me nuts!

I have used the Dell 355 Bluetooth module with the A2DP profile to serve an audio rack as well. However the Dell 355 has a rather restricted and bad connection quality. I ended up using an external bluetooth module, since it had less drop outs.
Unfortunately the dell drivers of the broadcomm/widcomm stack are rather old (and buggy). If you can't get it to work, install more uptodate drivers.
Make a system restore point and install these over the old ones (if you don't install them over the old ones, you might run into licensing issues):
widcomm v6.2.0.740 beta driver
Or this one:
v6.1.0.4700 -
Thanks heaps 7oby!
The new drivers did the trick. I now have (surprisingly high) quality audio pumping out of the Hi-Fi which is hopefully pissing the neighbours off no end
Repped.
