Dell has sent me the 130W adapter to replace the 90W adapter as of yesterday and I have been comparing how warm/hot each will get after running them for 4 to 5 hours each. I have noticed that since the (A03 Bios Update) the 90W adapter is now mildly warm to warm and that is how the 130W adapter gets as well, so for now I am going to keep the 90W adapter as I prefer the size and weight. I will send back the 130W adapter as I do not want to be charged for it.

Note: As stated before I tested it in normal computing conditions which I use this laptop for, I am not a gamer and do not need to stress this computer at any time. However if anything changes with the 90W adapter I will provide you with the new information here. I hope that this also works like this for the rest of you guys and gals as well, best of luck to all.

Why did you get a 1645 if you don't "stress" it? Wouldn't it have been a better idea to get a 1640?

Sure, as many others have already told this to me a 500.00 laptop also would have been fine also. As money was not an issue, I saw it, I liked it so I bought it. its no big deal. Also being a computer technician I also have understood clearly what I was buying and it certainly can't ever hurt to have extra (I guess a lot extra with this model).

    Have a nice day
