I'm looking at the XPS 15 but Dell seems to only give a 720p option, a 1080p upgrade option for +$130, or a DesignStudio 720p option for +$85. I don't really like the silver color of the XPS 15.

I'm wondering if I can get the DesignStudio option with 1080p instead of 720p or if I can get the 1080p screen with a darker color like blue or black?

well...in the US it seems you can't, but if you are from Latin America you can actually get it for less money than the regular FHD in the US. So getting the 1080p screen with Desing Studio is paussible. Call to a sales rep and ask him what he can do, that's my advice... (although, I don't think you'll get it for that price)

And I'm pretty sure that silver is the only color besides the Design Studios "designs"
