    Ah man, reminds me of the day I bought my xps gen 2. I had a 40% off coupon to go with it. Wish dell would do more of those....maybe 40% off allpowerful? I'll take 3. =p

    40% off!!! holy crap, how long ago was that?

    I've only been looking into getting a comp for ~3-4 weeks but 40% off is amazing. How often do they drop a coupon like that? even during their 25th anniversary i didn't see anything like that.

    don't think i have the patience to wait for the next one, just curious how long ago it was. And if you don't mind me asking, how much was your sxps (what specs.)

    Do you guys think I should just go ahead and get a Dell laptop, or take a chance and wait for a possibility of better deals? Will the deals get better then this?
    The reason I'm asking is I need a laptop for college, and the deals are looking pretty good right now.

    wait a while unless you really need it... things hsould go down in price... if something looks really good (price/config), then jump on it

    have you looked at dell outlet, and what laptop/specs are you looking at? might be able to find you a good deal
