I'm leaning towards the M1330 but my brother, who has more computer knowledge than me, says that the 13.3" screen is too small. He wants me to go with the 1530 or a Lenovo Thinkpad (not visually appealing to me). I'm gonna need something portable for college. I'm not really a fan of the Latitude, Vostro or the Inspiron.

In the end, I'm probably going to wait until a nice dell coupon comes out for the XPS. I also get a student discount through my university.

well you don't need an immense supply of computer knowledge to know if a screen is too small or too big for your liking. my advise would be to go to bestbuy or circuit and check out the different sizes, and see which one fits you best.
