I bought a used m1210 with the geforce video and no camera! I love this laptop. More than any other. I got is so cheap but with a dead 9 cell battery. Bought a used dell one and it seems to have about half life. I called dell and they do not have the 6 cell normal battery anymore just the 9 cell. I dont want this as it sticks out and the m1210 wont fit in my sleeve with it on. Does anyone know where or how to get an official new Dell xps m1210 normal 6-cell battery. Or a replacement battery that is not Dell that is ok to use and reliable. I just want a new fresh battery. =) Thanks for any help.

I just did a quick eBay search, and there is a pile of new batteries available.

They are off ebay. And I got one before and it sucked. Barely lasted 1 hour and a half with everything off and only browsing. I meant more like an official dell battery. If you found that on ebay any links?

It's a discontinued laptop. Sometimes you just have to take what you can get. At this point, I don't know that I'd trust that any battery purchased for that machine would really be OEM.

I did a search for "Dell XPS m1210 battery OEM" on Google shopper and some popped up. I just don't know that those merchants are any more trust worthy than eBay.

So, I'd be inclined to take my chances with the cheaper option, and find an eBay merchant with a good feedback rating. Once you do, look through their recent feedbacks for some that match the battery you want. If they're positive, that's the one I'd buy.

Anyway, good luck. I've had some luck buying generics. So, they aren't all bad.
