I have a Dell XPS M1730 and im trying to play World Of Warcraft.

The game runs fine with the power in

When I unplug the power the game constantly lags and the laptop loses its performance.

Im running Window 7 if that helps.

Anyone had the same problem that can help?

    Thanks

The laptop is downclocking the CPU in order to save power.

    To change this:
1)Click start, search for 'battery' and go to 'change battery settings'

2)Select your plan (Probably high performance) and go to 'change plan settings'

3)Then go to "Change Advanced Power Settings"

4)Scroll down to 'Processor Power Management' and press the +

5)Go to minimum processor state, and it'll be on battery: (a lot lower than plugged in).

6)For battery saving you can try and tweak this, or for pure power put it to 100%.

This should hopefully resolve the issue.
