Does Dell do a low level format after they "fix" a HD? I recently had to get a HD replacement because my old one developed a severe case of bad sectors. When I accidentally deleted an important file, I did a file recovery with some software and I happened to recovered a lot files that I have never seen before. Nosy that I am, I opened a C++ source code that I recovered and the name in the file was of a foreigner. =/ The hard drive came with an image of the factory settings that automatically boot up when I first turn on my computer.
