So I just got the DV6 in my sig, and I really like it, but looking for something that is perfect. My biggest complaint about the DV6 is size and keyboard, and would love a higher resolution screen.
So I noticed I could get similar specs in the Studio 16 (15.6"), I have not played around with the keyboard but as long as Dell did not get some smart idea to throw a bunch of extra buttons around, it should be better.
Now the catch is I get great battery life on my DV6. And in the end I would not be cutting back on size by going to the Studio, but at least I would be getting the better resolution if I am going to suffer with a 15+" system.
I just noticed, no mention of switchable graphics, if that is the case easy to imagine battery will be worse than I need/want.
Here is what I am looking at, I fear the battery is going to be awfully low compared to the 5-6+ hours I can get on the DV6.

My Studio XPS 1645 (sig) gets about 3h and some minutes (depends on usage) on my 9-cell battery so you can guess that a 6-cell in your configuration should get about 2h of battery life as I would think...
