Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
I think Windows 7 should be able to take care of most of your drivers at install. If not then, then when you first run Windows Update. Nonetheless, there's bound to be some silly device (like a Ricoh card reader) for which 7 and Windows Update won't have the driver in which case you can download your drivers from Dell:

Although, in the grand scheme of things, you should generally just download all the appropriate drivers to be on the safe side. Or at least the networking drivers such that you can access Dell website post-install. -
hey,
I installed Win7 fresh (clean install)
most of the drivers should be taken care of.
if you want IDT Audio, then you can install that (I don't like IDT audio cuz of the sound issues I've had with the 1640)
the only driver I updated was the video card, otherwise, it's running fine. =)
