    Dell Studio XPS 13 heat issues resolved?

    A friend just picked up one of these but wanted to know if the heat issues she keeps on reading about are resolved. There was some talk about a redesigned cover to better manage air flow but i cant find anything about Dell actually shipping them out. Any recent XPS 13 owners care to comment? Thanks.

    Heat problems were solved ages ago with a BIOS update. Mine has been rock solid since then. *touch wood*

    Personally I never had any heat "issues" though the machine used to run hotter when both the 9200M GS and 9400M G were enabled. However, BIOS updates significantly improved temperatures quite a while ago.

    My wife's runs rock solid, pushes WoW at 100fps with nHancer running for the SLI.. blows my friggin' mind.
