    Dell Studio XPS 16 / EPP

    Hi, does anyone know how long the current deal for the xps 16 on the epp website will last.

    $1022 P8600/4GB RAM/320GB 7200RPM HD
    $1162 P8700/4GB RAM/500GB 5400RPM HD
    $1348 P8700/4GB RAM/320GB 7200RPM HD/RGB Screen/BluRay

    I'm interested in buying one in the next month or so and this deal has been around for a while now, just curious if anyone knows if they have similar deals all the time or its something I should jump on while its around. I intend to wait at least until the 26th for the Windows 7 upgrade but other than that I don't have to purchase until sometime around late July. I haven't really decided which deal I want to take yet because I haven't really set a budget yet.

    Dell deals are everchanging...especially on the EPP site. If you see it now and, want it you should jump at it. It may not be there a few days from now. ;)

    Dell EPP is supposed match/beat home pricing..so if these deals go away and you see it at the home site..you can usually get them to match!

    Also, you will always have your EPP applicable discount availi' to you!

    You can call and get a quote from a EPP Rep, have them e-mail it to you, and also have them stay in contact with you on the latest deals on what you are *specifically* looking for. I have a EPP Rep that does that for me. :D

    Thanks, I think I'll wait even though the rep said the deal ends tonight. I wanted to wait until at least friday anyways for the windows 7 upgrade (which the rep said she knew nothing about it except that it was scheduled for release in October)...I guess I'll just have to wait for a new deal.

    Wait... so is I find a deal on the home site and call up EPP they can match the home price and then provide the 7% discount? Or do they match the price after the 7% discount?

    Yes, but remember...there will always be new deals coming out on the EPP site..and also, if you find something on Dell home, save that config..so you can present to the EPP Rep, so they can match that! :)

    Yes, they should match the Dell home pricing, and you should still get your 7% discount. This has always been the case for me on my purchases, even accessories! :D
