    I just called Dell UK up to purchase spare battery for my Dell XPS 15.

    I was told they dont have any 6/9 cell batteries at all !. they even refused to give me a price.

    Anyone know where I get a 6 cell battery from?. I dont really like the way the 9cell protudes

    I ordered a genuine dell 6 cell off ebay brand new for $80 USD and it's been great. I switch them out every so often to keep them both charged at all times just in case. Note, it did come from China (I think) but it's definitely dell genuine. There are all kinds of places online that sell "compatible" batteries, but they want almost as much as dell and their specs have less battery capacity.

    As stated above, Ebay is the best bet. Make sure you buy OEM and not OEM compatible. And if it seems too good to be true, don't do it!
