Ok,
so i bought an XPS m1530 3 months ago and it be working great for me but now i have this minor problem that really bothers me.
My right internal speaker gives off a crackling staticky sound whenever i play music and its really bothersome.
Will Dell warranty cover this?
and does dell waranty cover shipping costs?
-
Hey, and OUCH..that would probs hurt my ears
It should cover,...contact Dell and advise...
Do you have OnSite Service..where they come to your home or work???
Cin -
Ok good to know.
-lol yeah it makes music really unenjoyable
Onsite service? Could you give me a little bit more detail on how do i know if i do? -
Or go to dell.com and enter your service tag and you should be able to see the information about your system and also the warranty. -
I thought all XPS systems offer the first year as onsite NBD... ? I could be wrong. heh - now i'm curious.

Alright thanks, so i guess i do have onsite service.
and one more quick question before i send it in..
If i send it now, would it use up my warranty?
so would it be best to send it near the expiration of the warranty? -
paper_wastage Beat this 7x7x7 Cube
it wont use up ur warranty... ur warranty lasts for that set period... there isnt like a {2 uses} policy
and its not NBD for xps... though they tend to be NBD
and canada is sad...depot service -
So no worries there!....Also, *sending it in* arghh that stinks!
Well, at least it will be fixed..that's the brightside!
