    Ok,
so i bought an XPS m1530 3 months ago and it be working great for me but now i have this minor problem that really bothers me.
My right internal speaker gives off a crackling staticky sound whenever i play music and its really bothersome.

    Will Dell warranty cover this?
and does dell waranty cover shipping costs?

it should be in your purchase invoice.. something like 1 year or 2 year premium warranty or premium onsite NBD warranty or something like that..

Or go to dell.com and enter your service tag and you should be able to see the information about your system and also the warranty.

Yeah Batboy, it was the basic stuff that came with all XPS and even when I got mine.. but then recently I saw for a week or so that they were charging for it separately... don't know if it was a website error here (which I don't think it was, since it was there for a week I guess)... anyways, but what you say is right.. forgot to mention that.. There should be a basic warranty of 1 year.. but I thought Yonex probably wanted to see the details or whatever...

Alright thanks, so i guess i do have onsite service.
and one more quick question before i send it in..
If i send it now, would it use up my warranty?
so would it be best to send it near the expiration of the warranty?

it wont use up ur warranty... ur warranty lasts for that set period... there isnt like a {2 uses} policy

and its not NBD for xps... though they tend to be NBD

and canada is sad...depot service :(
