The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Dell Webcam Center - Can I update to Creative one?

    The Dell Webcam Center seems to be created by Creative.
    Looks like they have newer versions of their Creative Live! Cam Center software.
    (v2.00.13 vs 2.02.07)

    Just wondering if it is possible to update to the Creative version (for free)??
    (Have XPS 1330 & would like some more functionality to use webcam for remote security monitoring... The Dell Webcam Center takes more photos than I like and doe snot upload them with any security... hoping Creative may have improved these areas.)
